DISEC

disarmament and international security

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is one of the principal organs of the UN General Assembly. It tackles issues relating to international peace, arms reduction, the prevention of global conflicts, and the regulation of weapons of mass destruction. In MUN simulations, delegates debate security crises, nuclear proliferation, and disarmament policies while working toward international cooperation and consensus.
